Meditations for a Sane and Peaceful World 6:15-7:30 pm.  Every other Monday, April 3 and 17

Around the world this year we have seen war, strife, environmental degradation, racism and world-wide panic and hatred not seen in many decades. Many have been challenged to find hope.
We at JourneyWorks offer a space to any one needing respite and a quiet place, to center oneself and to offer energy to the world.  We  offer a space for meditation and prayer, and quiet art making.  Peace Meditations come in many forms. Come as you are and meditate as you do to support bringing positive energy for Self,  and Peace to the World. At the end, we will come together as a group and offer a Blessing, prayer, Energy to the world together.  This is a free event.

Postcards! February 27 6:-8pm   Gather to create vibrant healing, and proactive postcards!  Postcards might be sent to officials stating what you feel- A call of resistance, or a big Thank you for helping someone in need.  All materials supplied. $5.00 donation

Reiki Share: April 13, 6:30-9 pm, at JourneyWorks

An evening of meditation and energy, a time for Reiki practitioners of any level to offer and received Reiki.

 An Open Session for Play, Drama and Story

March 12  12:30-3:30 at the Fletcher Free Library led by Jennie and Sue Shaffer :

Join us  at the Fletcher Free Library in Burlington for a creative opportunity for relief and support regarding our current political climate and events.

   We will engage in theatre games, and dramatic action using psychodramatic and playback theatre techniques to gather and share stories of empowerment, diversity and resistance. No experience is necessary only a willingness to be of service to others and oneself. A way to connect and tell our stories that matter. “Become Part of the Narrative and Let Your Life Speak”!

This is a free event (Note that this is at Fletcher Free Library on College Street, Burlington)

Touch Drawing, March 13, 27, and April 10: 6:00-8:00pm

Learn the intuitive art of Touch Drawing, a form of printmaking on tissue paper using your fingertips. Touch drawings are powerful in their simplicity. They allow us to move beyond conditioned patterns and allow subconscious images to emerge. By creating a series of touch drawings one works deeper into the process, exploring our inner and outer worlds. $20.00 per session

Spring Equinox, Sunday, March 19, 5:30 pm
Join us at our Burlington home for an evening of ceremony, food, and sharing in acknowledgement of the equinox. Bring vegetarian food or drink to share. RSVPs please so we can plan. Call or e-mail for directions to our home.


Altered Bookmaking:  Mondays  April 24, May 8 and 22 , 6-8pm

An altered book is a book that has been turned into an original work of art, and can include any sort of media you are creative enough to incorporate. Possibilities are boundless with multiple technical ways to do it. The sky is the limit. Bring in a book you wouldn’t mind painting, cutting, collaging or renewing. We will explore the process of altering our inner and outer worlds while altering our books.    Materials are supplied. (Books will be available for use as well)

$20.00 per session-RSVPS necessary.
